Duke Street post office wants to make sure families are not left short changed after yesterday’s devastating news that Thomas Cook had folded.<\/p>\n
The post office in the east end, posted on their Facebook page this morning to confirm that they would buy back travel money from the unlucky holidaygoers.<\/p>\n
Posting on social media, they said: “We are saddened today to hear about the end of Thomas Cook, as a travel money provider we want to help you by ensuring you do not lose out on the buy back of your travel money when returning it to our branches.<\/p>\n
“Please bring your original purchase receipt and we will help you receive the full amount you paid for your currency, guaranteed.”<\/p>\n
The post has been shared and liked multiple times, with one commenter thanking the business for “being so thoughtful.”<\/p>\n
